The law firm of Hassett & Donnelly, PC, an insurance defense trial practice firm, has added two attorneys to its new Hartford office.

Peter G. Barrett will focus on the defense of general liability claims, including motor vehicle claims and construction site injury claims. Previously, Barrett served as a senior trial attorney at NGM Insurance Company's staff counsel's office in Auburn, Mass. He also was a partner, specializing in insurance defense, at Murphy, Barrett and Manitsas LLP of Longmeadow, a senior trial attorney for Sentry Insurance of Westford, Mass., and a litigation associate at Pellegrino, O'Connell and Winniman, PC in Springfield, Mass.

Danielle M. Maloney will focus on the defense of general liability claims, including premises liability claims and construction site injury claims. She previously served as a senior litigation associate at Tucker, Heifetz & Saltzman LLP in Boston and as a litigation associate at Smith & Duggan LLP of Boston. Hassett & Donnelly also has offices in Worcester, Mass.
