Hassett & Donnelly Adds Melville to Worcester Office

November 13, 2013 – Hassett & Donnelly, P.C., an insurance defense trial practice firm with offices in Worcester, Boston, and Hartford, announced today that Michael S. Melville of Beverly, Massachusetts has joined the firm as an attorney in its Worcester office.

Admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, Mr. Melville will focus his practice on Civil Litigation, Premises Liability, Appellate Law and Insurance Coverage.

Mr. Melville earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2011, where he graduated magna cum laude. While at Boston College School of Law, he earned the prestigious distinction of induction into the Order of the Coif.  Mr. Melville was a member of the Boston College Law Review for two years and Note Editor during his last year.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Clark University in 2008 where he graduated summa cum laude.

Mr. Melville previously served as a Senior Law Clerk to the honorable Denis P. Cohen, Court of Common Pleas, First Judicial District in Philadelphia.  He also worked as a student prosecutor for the Office of the District Attorney of Middlesex County and as an intern to the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor IV, United States District Court, District of Massachusetts.

Mr. Melville’s admissions include the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Melville is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Worcester County Bar Association.
