Scott T. Ober
Mr. Ober's practice focuses on civil litigation. He has served as lead counsel in cases before federal and state courts in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, as well as before various administrative agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. He has successfully served as lead trial counsel in numerous jury and bench trials, and in 2005 he was cited concerning a case involving the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Statute in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Mr. Ober also regularly provides insurance coverage opinions involving a variety of legal issues and insurance policy coverage forms.
His practice areas include Civil Litigation, Business Litigation, Insurance Coverage Opinions, Civil Rights Litigation, Municipal Liability Litigation, Construction Litigation and Massachusetts Tort Claims Act (M.G.L. c. 258) Litigation.
His bar admissions include the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1994, the State of New Hampshire in 1995, the State of Connecticut in 1998, and United States District Court, District of Massachusetts, in 1995, District of New Hampshire in 1995 and District of Connecticut in 2001.
Mr. Ober received his J.D. from Vermont Law School, South Royalton, Vermont, in 1994 and his B.S. from Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania, in 1991.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Worcester County Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association.
