Courtney-Elizabeth Mayo

Ms. Mayo's practice focuses on civil litigation on behalf of both corporate and individual clients in state and federal court on such matters as public and private construction law issues, commercial real estate and complex business litigation. In this capacity, Ms. Mayo has successfully argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and U.S. District Court.

With a specialty in construction matters, Courtney-Elizabeth Mayo has represented clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution on matters including breach of contract, construction defects, design errors, schedule disputes, collections, lien rights, defective materials, owner interference claims, termination for default, easement project documentation, and bond claims.

Prior to joining Hassett & Donnelly, Ms. Mayo was a civil litigation associate at Nathanson & Goldberg, P.C. She has been recognized as a "Rising Star" in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 issues of Boston Magazine Massachusetts Super Lawyers.

Ms. Mayo received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts in 2003 and her BA from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts in 2000.
